A somewhat last minute trip for two longtime girlfriends without our husbands. We have both been on Gate 1 tours with positive outcomes so we decided that would be an easy way to see a new country. It turned out to be a busload of 40 people but we covered a lot of ground in 10 days. We traveled over 1500 miles, walked 125,000 steps and took 400 pictures between the two of us. This was our itinerary for Morocco Kaleidoscope trip.
We covered much of the country in the two week trip. I really didn’t know what to expect but if I had done a little more research, I would have realized that we should have chosen a trip that spent the night in the desert and one that visted the Blue City and spent a night or two in the sweet seaside village of Essaouira. Casablanca warrant any extra days but the capital city of Rabat did.
Morocco is located on the northwest coast of Africa, bordered by Algeria, Mauritania and the Western Sahara dessert.
