My sister and I took our first ever trip together with just the two of us. We went on a Gate1 tour of Ireland – Kaleidoscope of Ireland. The trip was 10 nights starting in Dublin and ending in Belfast. We were lucky with the weather. It did rain a lot but mostly in the mornings while we were driving. The sun would come out just as we arrived at some of the more beautiful vistas. There were 26 people on the tour and it never felt like too many. Our tour guide was absolutely wonderful – knowledgeable, funny and very organized. After the tour ended, I went on to Scotland for 10 days staying in Glasgow, Isle of Skye, Pitlochry and Inverness. Overall a great three week trip.
